All my teammates owned iPhones of various generations and students who decked theirs out with shiny phone cases. Hong Kong provided me the option of owning of this little gadget myself at the simple cost of $800. That would mean I could use it anywhere in the world, with no restrictions. I mean, it was an investment, but it would be a good one...right?
Week five rolled around and I was back in Cambodia and realized that I had the dumbest idea floating in my mind for the last four weeks. In no way did I need to own a $800 phone. With $800, I can pay for more than 3 months of rent.
